Pipeline Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) Utility User's Guide

In order to use the Pipeline Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) Utility software, a data capture card needs to be plugged into the PC using the appropriate USB cable. To launch the Pipeline ADC Utility software, click Pipeline ADC Utility from the Microchip folder in the Start menu as shown in the accompanying figure. You can also double-click the desktop shortcut to launch the software.

​The software will NOT run properly if the board is not connected prior to running the software. If you launch the software without a board connected, a USB communication error message will appear as shown in the accompanying image.

Offline Mode

You can still use the software in Offline mode without a board connected to the PC. This enables you to customize the settings of the software. To fully utilize the software running the data acquisition sequence, a board connected to the PC is required.

To use the software in Offline mode, after launching the software, click Offline in the USB Communication Error window and a parts list pop-up window appears. See the accompanying image.

The Pipeline ADC Utility software will appear with the part number listed at the bottom right as shown in the accompanying image.
