LoRaWAN™ - RN2483 - What are the recommended repeaters?

In order to increase the range we would like to use repeaters. What would be a recommended repeater, if any?

LoRa® RN2483 module supports LoRaWAN™ protocol and the module is intended to be used with this protocol and not P2P.

LoRaWAN network architecture is typically laid out in a star-of-stars topology in which the gateway is a transparent bridge relaying messages between end-devices and a central network server in the backend. According to the RN2483 datasheet, the operation range is up to 15 km of coverage in suburban areas and up to 5 km coverage in urban areas (please refer to "TABLE 2-1: GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS"). However, this can change depending on the environment (e.g., high buildings, or module settings as bit rate, spreading factor, etc.).

Because of the long-range feature, there is no need for repeaters. The end-nodes are connected to a gateway which will route the packets to the server.
