What is an SQTP file?

Serial Quick Turn Programming (SQTP) is used to program a unique serial number into each device. This number can be used as an entry code, password, or ID number. Programming using an SQTP file determines the memory locations specified in the SQTP file to change every time a device is programmed. When programming the same device for multiple times, the Program Memory is changing accordingly at every pass count.

To view and change the settings of SQTP, you need to login to the Advanced Mode in MPLAB® IPE. After successfully logging in to Advanced Mode, from the dialog, click on SQTP on the left to display the available settings.
